At Poynter Primary School we value and respect student voice. Our vision and values encourage

students to contribute to the provision of a caring, safe, and inclusive environment for all.

Our student leadership program fosters the participation and leadership skills of active and reflective

listening, clear and effective communication, critical and creative thinking, goal setting and action

planning, mediation and dispute resolution, and problem solving and decision making.

All prospective Year 6 students are given the opportunity to nominate for a formal student leadership

position.
