Special Religious Education
Special Religious Education is not currently offered as part of the "in class programs".
It has been replaced with the
Treasure Hunters' Club which is run at lunchtime.
Children engage in games, drama, puzzles, discussion, art, film and music whilst learning the key beliefs, values and practices of the Christian faith which has profoundly shaped Australian culture. Students are provided with the opportunity to explore their values, beliefs and ideas in a creative, fun, and interactive way.
This club is run by trained and accredited YouthCARE volunteers during the students' normal lunch break. All children are welcome, regardless of religious or cultural background.
